Freudian can be our entire wedding playlist.

Ya’ll, I listened to Daniel Caesar’s album Freudian at work today and it took everything in me not to sing out loud. The boy is talented. Super talented. Almost to the point where its scary. His vocal range is untouchable. The only artists I can see in that realm are The Weeknd, and maybe DVSN. Its a small group. The way he meshes melodies together combined with the his very soft yet very textured vocals is EVERYTHING. Its a vibe that makes me want to run barefoot through grass fields smoking a fat blunt picking flowers. I want to grow locs just because of this album. It is so good. His music is powerful without being overpowering. Freudian gives you just the right amount of chills before you get cold. I’ll hold you down Daniel, any day of the week. I really need ya’ll to listen to this album, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This fool spent my money for a publicity stunt.

So, I’m just trying to figure out what level of pissed I should be. Should it be Russell Westbrook pissed, Rob Kardashian, or Joe Budden? No, definitely Joe Budden. You know that one vein that pulsates in the middle of someone’s forehead when they mad, and the veins in their neck. That’s how annoyed and pissed I am. Ya’ll better vote in 2018.

In case you missed it, VP Mike Pence decides to spend our tax dollars to go to a Colts game and leave when people protested the national anthem. Um sir, can we talk for a minute? Just me and you. I don’t know if you missed it but, THEY’VE BEEN DOING THAT SHIT ALL SEASON! Your bum ass knew that was going to happen before you even showed up. Which is why it makes perfect sense that Trump told you to do it. We don’t give a damn about you leaving the game. We don’t even like you. It means nothing that you showed up and left other than the fact that you wasted our money. You spent a quarter of a million dollars for an hour. I’m sending so many middle finger emojis your way, I hope you have imessage. Ya’ll better vote in 2018.

What’s even funnier is the fact that it was preplanned.

Look minion, you can run back and tell your little puppeteer that we don’t care. Then again, his hands might not be big enough to pull the strings, Ivanka might have to do that. We don’t care what you protest because its your right! Just like its our right to protest the national anthem. The president single handedly pissed off the entire sports community which just so happens to be 70% black. Its the one thing that people are united on. We are not supposed to agree with everything the President says, that’s the entire point of living in a democracy, we’re supposed to disagree. We’re supposed to compromise.

I’m a firm believer that chaos brings about change. I do believe that Trump is doing the one thing he didn’t plan on doing. He’s unifying people that probably would have never spoken if it wasn’t for his bullshit. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. You piss off enough people and there will be a full on uprising in this country against you. If every single person uses their right to vote in 2018 we might be able to impeach him. Teamwork makes the dream work ya’ll. Stay woke.

I know, I’m late but I’m so glad I was introduced to him!

Ya’ll my R&B life was made today. I was watching/listening to The Joe Budden Podcast – you know I love him and every episode they play what they like to call “sleepers.” Each host: Joe, Rory, and Mal, play a song that you may not be privy to just yet. Now, as an R&B head, I’m usually pretty aware of the songs they play but every now and then a few people fall through the cracks. Hence why I’m just hearing about Elhae. Elhae’s Aura II is an album that gives me SZA mixed with 6lack, and Daniel Ceasar vibes. Its an album you can make love and smoke weed too which most albums aren’t capable of doing. Usually, its one or the other but never both.

Elhae’s Aura II is worth several listens.

I listened to the album from top to bottom while meal prepping and it’s phenomenal. It’s rare you find an album that you can listen to straight through and you don’t have to skip a thing. It’s not something you come by. On top of that, there are only three features on the entire album. Its slapping. In an era where artists are releasing feature heavy records, to have an album with very few features is welcomed. Everything from the beats to the melody is bomb. I could go on and on about it myself, but the tracklist is below. A couple of my favorites are “something” and “slip and fall” featuring Eric Bellinger. Take a listen for yourself.
